Hortus is a collective in the process of forming itself. There are no borders, nor is there a set number of members. Membership is self-given by anyone or anything. Hortus is a garden divided into four parts according to the elements that are shaping the world: physis (body), logos (language), oikos (space) and polis (community). Hortus is also a carpet, a cartographic map of its activities, flying from one place to another, from one garden-to-be-planted to another, creating a history for Hortus but planting the ivies of the future in a specific place. Hortus moves between visionary prediction and proto-archaeological fieldwork and investigates aspects of utopia.

Duell, a collective consisting of Amelie Bodenmann and Olivia Abächerli, is practicing a dialogical play between material and thinking. They are driven by the thought of landscape as a condition. Duell examines topological and ideological crossing of space.
